Frequently Asked Questions
When and Where do I pick up my race packet?
For the 5K on St Pat’s Day, you must pick up your packet at the EXPO at the Pikes Peak Center. Other race packets will be available for pickup at the Colorado Running Company store in Colorado Springs. Race packets are also available race morning at the Registration tables in the Start area for out of town runners.
Is my entry fee refundable?
Unfortunately, race fees are not refundable.
Where can I park?
For St. Pat’s Run, we suggest parking in one of the City Parking Garages.
What are Pace Start Areas?
“Pace Start” is lining up at the Start line according to your minute-per-mile pace. The starting area will be designated by a number that corresponds to the minute-per-mile pace that you anticipate in running, i.e. a 5-minute mile, 8-minute mile, etc. The faster paces will be closer to the front and the slower paces towards the back. This keeps the slower runners and the walkers further back in the pack, so that we have a safer, smoother start and no one gets run over! With start mats at each race, your time doesn’t start until you cross the starting mat so there’s no rush to get to the start line and onto the course!
There are thirteen age divisions for both males and females. They are under 15, 15-19, 20-24, 24-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
Your age for the Series will be your age on the day of the LAST race in your series. For individual races, the assigned age bracket will be your age on the day of that race.
Tech shirts for all participants as long as supplies last. Awards will be given to the first three finishers in each age division, male and female and to the top three overall men and women winners (excluded from the age divisions.) All awards must be picked up within 30 days after each race.
Wheels & Pets
For the safety of all participants, baby joggers, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades and Pets ARE NOT ALLOWED in any of the races.
Chip Timing is used. You will be issued a timing chip to wear on your shoe during the race to receive your results. The chip is disposable and does not need to be returned. Official Results will be generated as quickly as possible after the race and will be posted on this website over the weekend of the race Any corrections should be reported as quickly as possible and no later than 14 days after the race.
